The OMSK collective have traveled far and wide, coming in through the back door and leaving via the ceiling. A subterranean beast, DJ OMSK is happy to inhabit dripping railway arches and damp warehouse space in pursuit of good noise.
Hannah 'MissInTheMix' Metcalfe
- Hannah MissInTheMix wears white rabbit ears and DJs using 45s from the
50's and 60's. Her record collection spans genres including Rock 'n' Roll,
Country and Western, Ballroom Dance, Soul, Jazz, English Pop, French Pop
and songs for children. Hannah has performed several times as a storyteller
at OMSK. For EatOMSK, storytelling was combined with live cookery to produce
'Scones'. All this, and her own custom-made rabbit costume ...that's another
story in itself, but suffice to say she’s a DJ people tend to remember.
Hannah has DJ'd at a variety of venues including the ICA, the Museum Of Moving
Image, and Leeds Carling festival. www.missinthemix.com.
